Another reminder of why I love Wisconsin...

This was a perfect autumn weekend filled with backyard games of football, apple festivals, an awesome corn/sunflower maze, apple crisp, hot tubbing, hammock sitting, flea market, pumpkin picking... AWESOME!! And the best of all, Great White Egrets se en from the road while trying to find a hidden pumpkin patch. And did I mention the fall colors... This state is gorgeous!! I love it. Wouldn't move for anything!! (Please remind me to reread this post in January ;) Btw, is this a teenage thing??? I went to find pics for this post and they were already uploaded along with about 15 of these. Does anyone else's teenager take umpteen self-portraits? LOL!! Peace, Trish

Wooooo Hoooo! I am back in business!!! We have a new computer :)

I am soooo excited! We finally have a new laptop! Freedom and oh yes, the ability to post pics!!! This past weekend we took the girls to a farm stand. Not just any farm stand, but the farm stand extraordinaire! Horse drawn wagon rides, haunted houses, farm animals, bouncy house, produce, pumpkins, gourds, cider, and last but not least a CORN MAZE! If you've never experienced a corn maze... check one out! I get a little creaped out as I am a child of "The Children of the Corn" era, but it was tons of fun and the girls liked choosing our path! The two younger girls had sooo much fun! Sami was not home, so she missed out:( Katie fell in love with a pot belly pig! Mackenzie fell in love with a goat! Of course they both wanted to bring them home and are constantly hounding me about buying a pig and a goat now!!! Fun does not always come without a price!!! Stay tuned in the next several days for new items in my Etsy shop!!!

My favorite time of year

Hello! I've not disappeared, just taking a little break. I can't figure out how to download pics to my old workhorse computer here yet and my laptops are done for. So... no pics again today :( I had to write a little something about how much I love this time of year, though! I was lucky enough to get an extra day off of work today - a treat indeed! Mike and I went for a motorcycle ride and it was gorgeous! It's around 81 and sunny. Some of the leaves are starting to turn colors and there is very little wind. All in all a perfect day for touring. I love riding my motorcycle at anytime, but on a day like today... magnificent!! I hope you've all made it through the goofy weather around the states and are able to enjoy fall in all its glory!
