Sometimes technology can be a bad, bad thing!

Okay, so not really. I'm just really bummed right now. Both of my laptops have CRASHED!!!! Not just one of them, oh no, not so easy for me... Nope, both of them! You see, we have two because the girls kept fighting over them and with me and my oldest trying to research for papers, etc, it seemed like the thing to do. So, in order to afford it, we skipped that little extra warranty thing. Seemed like a good idea at the time. Not so much!!! Luckily we still had our old dinosaur laying around, so... I'm here, but until I find the cord for my camera and see if it's even possible to download pics to this old bear, I won't be able to post pics. Or.... add anything to Etsy. I'm going to go crazy!!! I'm hoping to be able to fix one of the laptops (hopefully the one with all of our family pics on it :( So, please bear with me until I can figure out how to put some dang pictures on here, so I don't bore you all to death with writing... writing... writing!

    OoooH, i feel for you! NOTHING is worse than not being able to get online....I hate that feeling! I had my internet down for only 24 hours last month and went thru serious withdrawl, LOL!

Happy 4th! and... a Giveaway!

I hope everyone had a great holiday! The pic above is of our local fireworks, which we are lucky enough to be able to see from our house :) We had my family over today for a cookout. Steak and chicken on the grill. Yum!!! I chose the chicken. Weird right. I LOVE steak! However, I had two cupcakes yesterday that my daughter made and decorated red, white and blue for a party, so I felt like I'd indulged enough! I love cooking for people. I think I should have more parties :) I ran yesterday for the first time in a long time. I decided to try out the high school track made out of recycled tires. My hip (long story) was sore, but bearable. I started over with Week 5 of the Couch to 5K training program. Figured it was best not to rush it and injure myself again. I had enough left at the end to run the bleacher stairs for 3 minutes!! (My quads were screaming, but it felt oh so good ;) You can't really tell in the pic, but my face was sooo red!
