!!My Giveaway!!

All right! It's finally time for me to host my own giveaway! I love to win things and rarely do, so with all of my new found luck, I thought I'd pass it on! I will be giving away one ring or pin from my Etsy shop. Leave me a comment with your favorite three rings or pins from my shop. (I say three in case one or more sell. I will try to send your fav though!)

I will also send the winner one of these (or very similar to these)

You will receive one entry for each comment. If you blog about my giveaway and leave a comment telling me you did so, you will receive five more. If you leave another comment telling me what you think of my idea to have a children's Valentine's Day swap, you will receive one more entry. Please make sure to link to your blog/email, so that I am able to contact you if you win!

I will draw a name randomly at 10 AM central time on Tuesday, December 16, 2008. Entries will close at 9 AM central time on Tuesday, December 16, 2008. The winner will have 24 hours to respond to my email, to ensure delivery by the holidays!

Good luck and thanks!!

  1. Hi Trish! Thanks for a chance for a giveaway. All your Etsy things are nice, but if I had to choose three, (in no particular order) I'd say the Cute as a Button Bracelet, the Cotton Candy ring, and the set of mini canvas original paintings.
    Merry Christmas!

I love your cotton candy, candy cane, and snapple rings...but I'd be hard pressed to have to pick out a favorite. They're all adorable!

I'm a nurse also. I'm a charge nurse in a dialysis unit and am one of the lucky ones that can say that I love my job...something that not many nurses these days can say! It's been a great career choice all these years.

COMMENTS CLOSED!!! I'll be back later with a new post to share the winners :) Thanks to all who entered!! ONE WORLD-ONE HEART I'm proud to announce my One world-One heart giveaway!! This is my first year and I think it's way cool! A Whimsical Bohemian is the hostess for this amazing event and I "pirated" the follwing paragraph of info about the event from her: "The original idea behind this giveaway event was to bring bloggers together from around the world who may never ordinarily meet. It closes the gap of the blog community and enables us to interact, discover new and wonderful people, and in the process possibly win a prize or many prizes along the way. 2007 had roughly 85-90 participants and many connections were made because of it......friendships that are still going strong. We had a strong showing the first year for sure, and then in 2008 we had just about tripled that number. This is more than wanting to win something.......that is only the means..

Happy 4th! and... a Giveaway!

I hope everyone had a great holiday! The pic above is of our local fireworks, which we are lucky enough to be able to see from our house :) We had my family over today for a cookout. Steak and chicken on the grill. Yum!!! I chose the chicken. Weird right. I LOVE steak! However, I had two cupcakes yesterday that my daughter made and decorated red, white and blue for a party, so I felt like I'd indulged enough! I love cooking for people. I think I should have more parties :) I ran yesterday for the first time in a long time. I decided to try out the high school track made out of recycled tires. My hip (long story) was sore, but bearable. I started over with Week 5 of the Couch to 5K training program. Figured it was best not to rush it and injure myself again. I had enough left at the end to run the bleacher stairs for 3 minutes!! (My quads were screaming, but it felt oh so good ;) You can't really tell in the pic, but my face was sooo red! I hate that I get this red. My middle d

Self portraits, misc, and .... a GIVEAWAY!

I love this picture. It is of me. And I love it! I typically hate pictures of myself. My Bondi Band displays perfectly my love hate relationship with running; my shoulders look good; my eyes aren't showing which is super, cause they get all wonky in pictures sometimes! Love it :) Below are further attempts at pre and post run picture taking... note the lovely shade of red of my face post run... See what I mean about the wonky eyes. Weird. And yes, thank you for noticing, I do need to wear two sports bras when I run. I'd like to introduce my new love... a Garmin Forerunner 405cx. Love it! Of course I haven't used it yet. So, I love the idea of it :) Mike knew just what my heart desired for Christmas ( I may have dropped a hint or two ). My present to myself: I have an older generation 30 GB, which rocks, but it is cumbersome to run with. I've been wanting a shuffle for a while cause they are cute the perfect size to run with ;) Which brings me to the GIVEAWAY! I am in n
