Wants Vs. Needs ~ a Question

I don't know about you, but my list of wants is a mile long. Unfortunately the list of needs is far longer. :(

My question for you today is this: My dear daughter has "assumed possession" of my bike. I no longer have a bike to ride other than an old one of Mike's. I am 5'2.5" and he is 5'10". Does not quite work... So, on to the question...

~ If you were "bikeless" would you consider that a WANT or a NEED?

Basically, I'm looking for data to back up my thought that it is a neeeed:) heh heh!
Peace.

  1. Give me the luxuries of life and I will willingly do without the necessities. - Frank Lloyd Wright

A bike that fits is a necessity!

  2. Depending on the finances... you could get a used bike that fits at a garage sale -- NEED.

If money is no problem then get the bike you want new -- WANT.

  3. ohh well hmmm I sometimes call my wants, needs so that I can justify the cost :)

  4. Need! It will really help with your fitness without all the pounding of running. I just got a road bike, and it is changing my life and making me a better runner. Get the nicest one you can comfortably afford--it's definitely worth it, but fit is the MOST important thing. You can't ride your husband's!

Dreams...

I have lots of dreams.  They include everything from sheep to road bikes to my dog actually listening to me... I also LOVE to take pictures.  I mean LOVE .  Sometimes I go weeks without taking a single picture. Weird right?  Why not do something I feel that passionately about, everyday? Here are some of my most recent pictures: I live in Wisconsin and feel blessed that there are so many beautiful things for me to take pictures of.  When you're obsessed with barns and farm animals like I am, they're but a country road away! I'm going to slowly try to find myself again.  For the hundredth time.  I am sorry if that is all I write about here on this blog now, but hey - blogs are journals of a sort.  They just happen to be public ;)  Trish
